How to use Thermal Foil for cards and T-shirts – various colors
- Print your design using black ink with a laser printer on 170-200g paper
- put foil paper on your design paper (color facing up)
- insert the 2 papers in a heat laminator at 150C
- wait for the foil to cool before peeling
How to use foil for printing paper/cardboard with a heat press
- Print your design using black ink with a laser printer on 170-200g paper
- put foil paper on your design paper (color facing up)
- put a heat insulator on the heat press base and put the 2 papers on top of it
- put a heat distributor on top of the papers and cover everything with a polyester heat insulator
- press at 160C for 50-60sec at medium to high pressure
- wait for the foil to cool before peeling
How to use foil for printing fabric
- Print your design using black ink with a laser printer on laser dark paper (see how)
- place laser dark paper on T-shirt and cover with a silicone sheet then press for 15sec at 160C
- wait for the paper to cool before peeling
- cover the design with the foil sheet (color facing up) and silicone sheet
- Press for 20-30 sec at 160C at high pressure
- wait for the foil to cool then peel
- re-press for 10 sec with the silicone sheet
- up to 30C heat when washing
