Requirements

How to Cut and Use USA Surface Vinyl:

1. Place the vinyl in a plotter machine (like cricut or cameo) and set the force to 40 and the speed to 12 or 13.
2. After cutting your design, apply transfer tape to transfer it onto your desired item.
3. Use a heat blower or heat press for a few seconds to secure the vinyl to the item.
4. For printing on a mug, use a heat blower to heat the mug over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes after transferring your design.

How to Print USA Surface Vinyl with a Laser Printer:

1. Select the label printing settings on the printer.
2. Print the logo on the sticker.
3. Apply lamination film to the printed vinyl.
4. Use a cutter plotter to cut the borders of the logo (keep the sticker in place).
5. Place a silicone sheet on top of the sticker or foil, and insert it into the thermal laminator at a temperature of 175-180 degrees.
6. Carefully remove the logo from the sticker for use.

How to Print USA Surface Vinyl with a Sublimation Printer:

1. Print your photo on thermal sublimation paper using a Sawgrass or Epson sublimation printer.
2. Place plain white paper over the heat press for protection.
3. Put the printed sublimation paper on the vinyl and place a silicone sheet on top inside the heat press.
4. Set the temperature to 200 degrees and the time to 60-80 seconds. Apply medium pressure.
5. Remove the sublimation paper, leaving the image printed on the vinyl.
6. Attach the printed vinyl to the object and insert it into the press again for 5 to 10 seconds to permanently fix it.

Additional Tips:

• For matte vinyl, use lamination paper and a laminator set to 160-170 degrees.
• Gold, silver, opal, and hologram glitter vinyl do not require lamination paper.
• Place a heavy object on plastic or acrylic surfaces (like cards) to restore their original shape after using a heat press to fix vinyl.
• Attach the sticker tip to the cup and slowly rotate the cup while spreading the sticker for a perfect application.
• Invert the design before cutting thermal vinyl.
