How to cut and use the surfaces Vinyl

1. Insert the vinyl into a plotter machine, such as a cricut or cameo, and adjust the settings to a force of 40 and a speed of 12 or 13
2. Once the design is cut, apply transfer tape to transfer it from the vinyl to the desired product
3. Finally, use a heat blower or heat press for a few seconds to firmly fix the vinyl onto the product
4. If you are printing onto a mug, heat the mug with a heat blower on medium settings and high heat for 3 to 5 minutes after transferring the design.

How to print vinyl with a laser printer

1. Adjust the printer’s label printing settings to make them compatible with vinyl.
2. Print the desired logo or image onto a vinyl sticker.
3. Apply a protective adhesive film to cover the printed vinyl and keep it safe.
4. Use a cutter plotter to trim the edges of the sticker around the logo, but leave the sticker intact.
5. Place a silicone sheet or foil on the sticker , and then run it through a thermal laminator set to a temperature of roughly 175-180 degrees.
6. Once the lamination process is finished, gently remove the logo from the sticker, and your vinyl is now ready to be used.

How to print on vinyl surfaces with sublimation printers:

1- Print your photo on thermal sublimation paper such as Global Paper using a Sawgres or Epson sublimation printer.
2- Place plain white paper over the heatpress to protect it
3- Place the printed sublimation paper on the vinyl and a silicone sheet on top inside the heatpress
4- Temperature: 200 – Time: 60 to 80 seconds – Piston pressure is medium
5- When finished, remove the sublimation paper so that the image is printed on the vinyl
6- Paste the printed vinyl on the product, a mug or anything you want to print, and insert it into the press again for 5 to 10 seconds to permanently fix it.

**Important tips while printing vinyl surfaces on a sublimation printer:

• If you’re printing on matte vinyl, you’ll need to use lamination paper (such as the kind used for licenses and documents), which can be found in bookstores. Use a laminator set to a temperature of 160-170 degrees
• Gold, silver, opal, and hologram glitter vinyl, do not require lamination paper
• When using a heat press to fix vinyl onto plastic or acrylic surfaces like cards, the plastic may become tilted slightly. To fix this, you can place a heavy object on the surface to return it to its original form
• For printing on mugs, start by peeling off the sticker tip and attaching it to the cup. Slowly rotate the cup while spreading the sticker to ensure a perfect application
• Finally, when cutting thermal vinyl, be sure to invert the design beforehand
